Rwanda and Switzerland Hold Second Round of Political Consultations
Bern, 1 September 2026 — The second round of Rwanda–Switzerland Political Consultations was held in Bern, Switzerland, following the inaugural round held in Kigali in June 2025. The consultations reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Rwanda’s delegation was led by Ms. Marie Grâce Nyinawumuntu, Director General for Europe, the Americas and International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda.
The consultations provided an opportunity for constructive exchanges on bilateral priorities, regional developments, and global issues of mutual interest, with both sides looking forward to their implementation and continued collaboration.
