Rwanda Convenes Diplomatic Briefing on Efforts to Combat Illicit Alcoholic Beverages
Kigali, 21 August 2026 - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, together with Minister of Health, Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana and Minister of Trade and Industry, Tony Kajangwe, convened a diplomatic briefing on the Government of Rwanda’s efforts to tackle illicit alcoholic beverages and measures to build a more resilient society.
The briefing provided an opportunity to engage diplomatic partners, share Rwanda’s approach, and highlight ongoing efforts to address the challenges posed by illicit alcoholic beverages.
The Government of Rwanda remains committed to safeguarding public health, strengthening societal resilience, and working with partners to advance solutions that protect communities.
