Minister Nduhungirehe visits Tanzania
Dar Es Salaam, 26 July 2026 - Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe visited Tanzania. He was received by his counterpart, Amb. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Tanzania's Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral ties between two countries.
“Tanzania is a strategic partner for Rwanda, and around 80% of our maritime cargo goes through the port of Dar es Salaam. We also discussed with Tanzania about our shared goal of promoting regional integration within the East African Community. You know that we have a four-step integration agenda, and we discussed how to remove trade barriers and how to promote infrastructure between countries of the East African Community,” Minister Nduhungirehe noted.
