On 30 and 31 October 2020, Minister Vincent Biruta had a productive working visit in Morocco.
During the visit, he was received by his counterpart, Mr. Nasser Bourita. Two new agreements were signed in the field of Sports as well as for the monitoring of bilateral projects.
Minister Biruta also met with Badr Alioua and Abdou Diop, President and Vice-President of the "Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc" (CGEM) and discussed economic opportunities as well as the establishment of a Rwanda-Morocco Business Council.
Minister Biruta had a fruitful exchange with Amb. Mohamed Methqal, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) with which a partnership already exists.
Rwanda and Morocco enjoy excellent relations that have been strengthened by State Visits on both sides, the opening of the Embassy of Morocco to Rwanda in 2018 and of the Embassy of Rwanda to Morocco in January 2020.
