Minister Sezibera meets with his Armenian Counterpart
Kigali, 06 April 2019 - Rwanda Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Richard Sezibera received Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, who was in Kigali on an official visit. The two officials discussed bilateral relations and expansion of cooperation in various areas such as innovation, ICT, trade, etc.
Both Ministers underlined digital economy, as well as the spheres of information technology, creative education and innovation were indicated as priority areas of cooperation.
Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Sezibera highlighted further practical steps aimed at promoting political dialogue, reciprocal visits, trade and economic ties, expanding legal framework and boosting people to people contacts.
Both parties commended the cooperation on international platforms between Armenia and Rwanda towards the genocide prevention.
Expressing gratitude for being present at this important 25th commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi, Minister Sezibera presented the Rwandan experience of the reconciliation process.
