Minister of State Nduhungirehe receives Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland
Kigali, 17 September 2019 - Minister of State Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe received Mr. Marcin Przydacz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, for bilateral talks. They discussed ways to enhance ties between Rwanda and Poland.
Both sides agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in economic, trade and Investment fields. They also agreed to enhance collaboration on the multilateral level regarding issues of common interest.
Bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Poland is increasing, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation. In September 2009, Mr. Radoslaw Sikorski, then Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, visited Rwanda and opened the "school of blind children" in Kibeho, Nyaruguru District. The school was constructed and furnished by the Polish Government. The school has students mainly from Rwanda, with a few from DRC and Tanzania.
