Minister of State Prof. Nshuti Manasseh receives Japanese volunteers
Kigali, 7 November 2022 - Minister of State in charge of East African Community, Prof. Nshuti Manasseh received 11 Japanese volunteers who are in Rwanda to support different community development initiatives under Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Rwanda and Japan established diplomatic relations since July 1962. Rwanda opened its Embassy in Tokyo in 1979 and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) opened its office in Rwanda in 2006. The Japanese Embassy was opened in Kigali in January 2010.
