Minister Biruta visits India
New Delhi, 7-8 December 2023 – Minister Vincent Biruta conducted a two-day official visit in India. The visit will cement the existing strong bilateral relations between Rwanda and India.
He met with his counterpart Hon. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India. They exchanged on ways to deepen bilateral ties.
“Trade between our two countries continues to grow and has the potential to expand even further,” said Minister Biruta.
During this visit, Minister Biruta also met with Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman of Medanta Hospital. They discussed opportunities for further cooperation with the hospital, which offers medical services to Rwandans.
Furthermore, he interacted with Rwandans living in New Delhi, India. Their conversation focused on the preservation of Rwandan cultural values, patriotism, being exemplary, and their role in Rwanda’s economic development.
