MINISTER BIRUTA RECEIVES OUTGOING HIGH COMMISSIONER OF PAKISTAN
Kigali, 23 December 2022 – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda, Vincent Biruta received Mr. Amir Mohammad Khan, the outgoing High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Rwanda as he concludes his tour of duty. They discussed strengthening the existing relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Rwanda and Pakistan established diplomatic ties in July 1962. Rwanda is represented to Pakistan by Rwanda Embassy in Beijing. Pakistan opened a resident High Commission in Kigali in March 2021. Before, it was represented by its High Commission in Nairobi.
The two countries cooperate in various fields including trade and investment.
