German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development in Rwanda for a two-day Visit
Kigali, 15 August 2019 - Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Uzziel Ndagijimana and Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe had a meeting with Dr. Gerd Muller, German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development. They discussed deepening the cooperation between Rwanda and Germany but also investment opportunities in Rwanda for German investors.
Dr. Gerd Müller and his delegation were in Rwanda for a two-day visit. While in Rwanda, they held talks with several German business representatives about the investment opportunities in Rwanda.
Rwanda Development Board CEO Clare Akamanzi and Federal Minister Dr. Gerd Müller signed the Memorandum of Understanding for job creation and skills development. They also discussed how to increase the level of German investments in Rwanda.
Before leaving, Dr. Gerd Müller was received by President Paul Kagame for bilateral talks.
